Diabo Na Cruz were a very relevant band that defined the “Roque Popular” or “Trad-Rock” genre. A combination of rock, pop, synths, electronics and portuguese folk music as well as the use of traditional portuguese instruments. The band also became known for their energetic and contagious concerts.

Manuel Pinheiro joined the band in 2010 as a percussionist and was also the co-composer of the percussion sections. At the same time Manuel started introducing the samplers, the drum pads and other electronic elements that can be heard on their albums. The band recorded four studio LP´s and one live album.
